We visited three wineries during the day, each one more beautiful than the next. Think Tuscany meets Napa! So gorgeous...and so much delicious wine! I was really surprised that my favorite wine in New Zealand was Syrah. New Zealand is known for their Sauvignon Blanc (don't worry, I had plenty of that during our trip), but it's mostly made on the south island. Since we visited wineries on the north island, we got to try a lot of yummy reds.
The weather was quite a bit warmer in the Auckland area (since it's closer to the equator). I took advantage of not needing a coat and layered up on some comfy basics. This Joie sweater has always been a favorite of mine – one part sweater and one part coat! I paired it with a chambray, pixies & my fave sneaks...perfect for walking to the different wineries! My Talbots backpack really came in handy on our trip – it looks chic in blush pebbled leather but also keeps me hands-free.
Thanks for stopping by!
